The Operetta CLS is a high throughput imager for High Content Analysis (HCA) with live cell capability.

The Operetta CLS high-content analysis system has all the speed, sensitivity and resolution you need to characterize fine sub-cellular details.

The Operetta is designed for fully-automated high-capacity, quantitative cellular analysis of fixed or live cells.

It contains the highly sensitive sCMOS camera that provides a large field of view and high resolution image capture.

It can acquire, analyze and manage fluorescence, brightfield and digital phase contrast images.

Operetta CLS combines robust autofocusing, high power LED excitation with fast and precise mechanics to enable fast sequential acquisition.

Seamless integration with Harmony software provides an easy to use workflow, enabling the reliable discrimination of phenotypes even in complex cellular models.

Our Operetta CLS is equipped with 2x and 10x Long WD Objectives, 20x, 40x and 63x high NA Objectives.

Operetta can perform many types of assay followed by automated image analysis - including

  • cell shape, cell cycle and apoptosis
  • cytoskeletal reorganization and membrane texture
  • G-proteins and mitochondria mass
  • neurite outgrowth and angiogenic tube formation
  • cytoplasmic foci – e.g. autophagosomes, colony formation, cell migration, 3D cell invasion, and protein localization and quantification

The Opera Phenix High-Content Screening System is a microscope designed for high-throughput 3D imaging of fluorescent samples in microplates.

The Opera Phenix can operate in standard fluorescence and spinning disk confocal mode. It is equipped with 405, 488, 561 and 640 nm solid state lasers and a variety of objectives, including objectives with a high numerical aperture (NA), long working distance (WD) and large field of view (FOV):

  • 5x, 10X, 20X air objective
  • 20x, 40x & 63X water-immersion objective

Image Analysis. The microscope's uses Harmony software for instrument control, Phenologic capability for tracking and Columbus for data navigation and analysis.

The Vectra automatically performs a low-power 4x scan of your tissue microarrays, extracting only relevant, interesting high-power 20x fields. Intelligent imaging provides a more efficient and faster alternative to whole-slide scanning. The period of time to perform a study can be reduced from months or weeks to days or even hours.
